Maver Milton Keynes rod Roger Cluton has continued his good run of form – and has now qualified for both the Shakespeare and the Wyncavon Finals, in just three visits to the river!

On a hot, but overcast day, Roger attacked his peg with groundbait, catching four good bream on  the pole with a running through rig with from peg 64 above the Ferry.

In second place was RAF rod, Michael Dcaccia. Michael took a bream, and several perch and eels on long pole tactics, fishing with a flat float and feeding chopped worm and caster through a baitdropper.

Third placed John Whitehouse caught a net of perch and eels on flatfloat tactics from peg 71.
