Back To The Future

Baits that helped to shape carp fishing history are coming back in all their glory. This September will see the re-release of Solar Tackle’s most sought-after baits under The Originals banner.

The range will boast two high-grade fishmeal baits in the ridiculously successful Club Mix and the Red Herring, the latter having been brought back by overwhelming popular demand after 5 years out of production.

Accompanying these will be three seed-based baits, centred around Martin Locke’s original Savay Seed Mix, originally developed and perfected back in 1987 as a collaboration from the top anglers of the time on the historic Savay Lake.

Top Banana (the original Banoffee), Quench and Candy Floss will all be part of The Originals, providing a full range of 5 flavours in 15mm and 20mm shelf-life and frozen boilies as well as base mix and all the extra ‘trimmings’!

Martin Locke says: “It appears that everyone is getting very excited about the launch of ‘The Originals’ as am I.  At Solar we are constantly striving to improve our products, including baits, but these legendary carp catchers quite simply, could not be improved. So, we’ve reverted to the exact original recipes.

“Loved by anglers and carp alike, The Originals are baits that reputations were built on and countless records and PBs were caught on. Get out there and enjoy them. We make no apologies for the increase in your catch rates!”
