Plenty of trout were caught again this week thanks to the increased stocking program.
A great week was had for fishing at Wellsfield Fishery with many anglers bagging their catch limits.
Average weight was 3lb 2oz.
Buzzer fishers and lure fishers had a great week, as did bait anglers.
ONE troutmasters specimen was caught this week: A 12lb rainbow by Mr McDermott (Larbert) using buzzers in his bag of 3 fish for 18lb.
Best flies this week: Yellow Dancer, Tadpoles, Coneheads, Ugly Buggers, Fritz Humungus, Black Buzzers, PTN, Hares Ear Nymph, Damsel Nymph.
Best bait: Power Pellets, Maggots and Spinners.
