Weekly Report for Week Ending 4th July, 2010

All 3 lochans fished very well this week.  The fishery is open till 10pm, 7 days per week for evening sessions.  Most fish being caught just under the surface down to 3-4ft.  There are some great evening rises at the moment.  Average catch per rod was 3 trout with an average weight of 3lb. 

ONE Red £50 Prize Tagged Trout was caught this week by lucky fisherman Mr Donaldson (Alva).

FOUR GREEN TAGS were caught at the weekend winning free 4 hr / 3fish permits, by M Elliot (Glenboig), B Falconer (Boness), J Stokes (Kilsyth) and M Robertson (Tullibody).
 
Best Flies this week: Yellow Dancer, Damsel Nymph, Buzzers, Diawl Bach. Best Bait: Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Mepps.
