Over 330 fish were caught this week at Wellsfield. All 3 lochans fished very well again this week for fly and bait anglers. Many anglers bagged their fish limits when fishing the right flies or bait. Average trout size 3lb, with many fish in the 5lb – 8lb specimen category.
Best Flies this week: Czhec Nymphs, Okey Dokey Buzzers, Stalking Bugs, Yellow Dancer, Lime green Fritz, Cormorants. Best Bait: Yellow Floating Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Taz’s.
ONE RED £50 TAG WAS CAUGHT THIS WEEK: Mr. A Chisholm (Tullibody) caught a Green Tagged a Trout winning him a free 4hr permit and Mr. Henderson (Larbert) caught a £50 RED TAGGED Trout this week from the middle fly pond using fly.
