The fishery is open till 10pm 7 days a week and the evening sessions continue for fly and bait fishing.
THREE double figure specimen trout were caught this week. A 12lb rainbow trout from the top fly pond by Mr Davidson (Falkirk) using lures, and an 11lb 8oz rainbow for Mr Hill (Kirkintilloch) from the middle fly pond using lures and an 11lb 2oz rainbow by Mr Hamilton (Coatbridge).
One red tagged trout was caught this week by lucky angler Mr O’Hara (Camelon) winning him £50.
Best flies this week were: Mini-Lures, Buzzers, Diawl Bach, Black Nomad, Dancers, Damsel. Best bait: Power Bait, Mepps, Taz’s Maggots.
