Weekly Report for Week Ending 27/7/09

The fishery is open ’til 10pm 7 days a week and the evening sessions continue for fly and bait fishing.  Many anglers bagged their fish limits this week, with an average weight of 3lb, with many in the 4lb-5lb range.

TWO troutmaster specimens were caught this week.  An 11lb 4oz rainbow trout from the top fly pond by Mr Clark (Falkirk) using mini lures and an 11lb 1oz rainbow for Mr McColl (Bathgate) from the bait pond using green powerbait.

ONE Red £50 Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week by lucky angler Mr Armstrong (Bishopbriggs).  There are loads of Red £50 tags and White £500 tagged fish in the lochans.

Best flies this week were: Buzzers, Diawl Bach, CDC, Damsel. Best bait: Power Bait, Mepp Spoons, Tobys, Maggots.
