The evening sessions continue and the fishery is open from 8am till 10pm, 7 days. All 3 lochans fished very well this week. The trout are free rising and conditions are perfect for top of the water sport.
TWO specimen trout were caught this week:
Mr Wilson (Bathgate) landed a superb 11lb rainbow from the bait pond in his 3 for 16lb 8oz and Mr Laing (Alloa) caught a superb 10lb rainbow in his 4 for 20lb using buzzers.
ONE Yellow Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week – Mr Watson (Stilring) from the top fly pond winning him £50. Yellow £50 Tags are stocked weekly. There are plenty tags still in the water including two £500 White Tagged Fish.
Best flies this week: Hoppers, Buzzers, Diawl Bach, PTN and Yellow Dancer fished on a floating line. Best bait: Green Powerbait, Maggots, Mepp Spinners.
