The fishery evening sessions are still ongoing and the fishery is open to 8.00pm, seven days a week.

All 3 ponds are fishing very well at the moment and many anglers are bagging their limits and taking out second permits. Some fine Rainbows, Blues and Browns with an average weight of just over 3lb were caught with many in the 4lb –5lb range.

Fly fishermen found a floating or intermediate line with a long leader fishing daddies, damsels, and yellow dancers worked best.  Bait anglers found green powerbait, maggots and small spinners worked best.

Shotts Bon Accord A/C  (6 rods) caught 13 trout for 45lb.

Three doubles were caught this week, Mr Clark (Falkirk) landed a fin perfect 12lb rainbow from the middle fly pond in his 5 for 24lb 8oz using mini cats, and  Mr Donnelly (Stirling) landed a fine 11lb rainbow from the bait pond using mep spinners in his 4 for 16lb 8oz.  A 10lb 3oz rainbow was landed by a member of the Shotts Bon Accord A/C on Saturday.
