FOUR specimen trout were caught this week. Mr R Erskine (Kincardine) caught a best 10lb 8oz rainbow in his 3 for 15lb 8oz, Mr L McGeorge (Glasgow) caught a 9lb rainbow in his 4 for 18lb, Mr T Sinclair (Larbert) caught a 7lb 8oz rainbow in his 3 for 12lb 8oz and Mr A Hayden (Glasgow) caught a 7lb 8oz rainbow in his 3 for 12lb 8oz.
ANOTHER £500 White Tagged Trout was caught this week by Mr Livingstone (Falkirk) from the middle fly pond but unfortunately it got away as he lost it at the net and was very disappointed indeed!
ONE Yellow Prize Tagged Trout were caught this week. Mr McGinlay (Alloa) from the top
fly pond winning him £50.
Best flies this week: Buzzers, Montanas, Mini-Cats, Yellow Dancer fished on a floating or intermediate line and a very slow retrieve. Best bait: White Powerbait, Maggots and Mep Spinners.
