Evening Sessions have now started at Wellsfield Fishery. The fishery is open from 8am till 8pm, 7 days. The closing time will progressively get later to 10pm as the evenings get longer.
All three lochans fished very well this week with many a happy angler catching their bag limits. The average catch was 3.5 trout per angler with Brown Trout, Blue Trout and Rainbow Trout in the catch returns.
THREE specimen trout over 7lb were caught over the week from the ponds.
Mr G Ross (Stirling) landed a cracking 13lb 10oz rainbow, in his 2 for 15lb 10z mid week on the fly. A great troutmasters entry.
Mr Sloan (Alloa) netted a 12lb rainbow in his bag of 3 trout for 15lb using Powerbait.
Mr Donaghue (Falkirk) caught a cracking 9lb rainbow trout in his 3 for 15lb using nymphs.
One Yellow Prize Tagged Trout was caught this week from the bait pond by lucky angler Mr Graham (Falkirk) using winning him £50.

Best bait: Powerbait, Maggots and Tazmanian Devils.
