The fishery will be open for fly and bait fishing 7 days per week all winter and will be ICE FREE due to the ice prevention wave machines.

All three ponds are fishing very well both fly and bait anglers. Best flies: Pink Fritz, Yellow dancer, Buzzers. Best bait: powerbait and maggots.
Five large specimen trout were caught this week. Mr M McComisky (Coatbridge) landed a fine 10lb 2oz rainbow in his 2 for 12lb 8oz using lures and his brother Mr A McComisky (Coatbridge) landed a fine 8lb 8oz in his 2 for 10lb 2oz on the same visit. Mr I Purvis (Burntisland) landed a cracking 8lb 4oz rainbow in his 3 for 13lb 4oz. Devlin (Coatbridge) 5 for 16lb, best 6lb 12oz rainbow, Mr Devlin (Coatbridge) had 5 for 16lb, best a 6lb 12oz rainbow. Mr Kerr (Stirling) landed a single 7lb 4oz trout on Wednesday.
One Yellow Prize Tagged Trout was caught this week by lucky angler Mr Stoddart (Grangemouth) using fly winning him £50.
