The Yorkshire Carp Study Group meeting was held in Leeds on Friday 16th January 2009 and was attended by over 100 anglers.
Supported by the Greys & Chub Carp Academies, speakers at the event included Dave Moore on Advanced Bait Techniques, Kevin Grix demonstrating Rigs and Specialist Knots, Tony Makepeace and Jason Green who advised on PVA bag methods and Bait Application.
The night was capped off with a slide show presentation from Mark Holmes, former Editor of Advanced Carp magazine and current member of the Greys Carp Academy.
Attendees were also treated to a special preview of the new Greys Torsion Bivvy & Torsion Carp Rods, which received huge interest. Product Manager, Lee Collings and Marketing Manager Alan Yates, were on hand to offer specialist advice on these exciting new products.
