Now you see it, now you don't….

NASH have another winner if you’re a fan of fluorocarbon lines. Normally made by combining a carbon base with fluorine to create a bonded line, this process renders the line almost totally invisible under water as it has the same ‘refractive index’ as the water which surrounds it when fishing so it becomes almost impossible to see.

Fluorocarbon line is stiffer than monofilament nylon line, which makes it ideal for forming part of ‘combi-link’ or stiff rigs, especially in clear water. Abrasion resistant, water and oil resistant, fluorocarbon lines are tough enough to deal with most situations that an angler will encounter. Its stiffness can cause a few errors when knot tying and sufficient care should be taken to ensure knot strength; a dab of superglue may help.

Nash FluorocarbonThis 25m spool of 15lbs breaking strain hook link has a place in any carp or specimen anglers tackle. It will take the fight of any big fish and not let you down. Its lack of stretch means no pulled hooks or missed bites, and its invisibility means a lot more pickups from your target species. Used as part of complex rigs, it gives the angler a large number of options when it comes to trapping a wary fish.

Each pack comes complete with a ‘rig tips’ book to help the inexperienced angler get the best from the product.
