These are weighty back leads designed to be attached to the main line after casting. The simple design makes them easy to use; just remove the inner sprung clip, place over the line and insert back into the body of the lead. The centre bore of the lead is of a cone like design which allows the clip to come free in the event of snagging or tangling, just by applying steady pressure.
The leads have a large surface area and wide base to ensure that they don’t shift unnecessarily underwater and pin the mainline to the bottom.
