I'm off boat fishing Thurs from littlehampton and w'ere meant to be targetting bream. Just wondered what else may be about there since I've not actually fished there before - usually fish from Hayling Island ?

Maybe a few pollack or bass. I caught some decent (30-40lb) reef conger the last time I fished there.

The bream sport is quite good at the moment, I'd concentrate on using some light tackle and have some fun. Best baits are ragworm or rag tipped with a thin strip of squid.

Just to report back we were thwarted by the weather, as seems to be the norm for me now. Never mind hopefully will be able to get out in the next few months.
