Fox Rx alarms/receiver

I'm thinking about getting the Fox Rx alarms/receiver.Does anybody have them and how do you like them?

 

Have you had any problems with them?

 

What is the difference between them and the LXR's?

I don't have the RX's, as far as I understand they feature a 'range test facility' - which means you can see how the the range extends in any particular swim - which may be useful if you are tucked away amongst bushes and other obstructions.

 

I think what it does is sends a signal when you test it when you walk out of range of the receiver.

 

All clever stuff! But then none of us should be that far from the rods anyway that this needs to be useful - if you see what I mean!!
