  1. During a recent visit to the ribble at Elston I was disgusted to find the bank strewn with empty cans of beer, luncheon meat, bread bags, groundbait bags, deadbait bags. etc. I dont know why certain anglers have to be so careless and try to ruin it for everyone else.
  2. Im talking about the river lostock that runs through Leyland. I must admit that I do not know where it starts and finishes as it seams to disapear on my map, It seams to head out towards chorley so it could be the same. Bloodworm probably knows more about it than me.
  3. cheers bloodworm, I will have a drive down there tomorrow 4 a look
  4. It has been suggested recently that the river lostock could be well worth a try as it is apparently stuffed with fish, I had a look today and it seemed far to small, about 7 foot wide and maybe 2 foot deep at the most. Has anyone tried this river and had any success??
  5. Has anyone fished pine lake nr carnforth or stanley park in blackpool recently. I believe that pine lake has recently opened up to day tickets, having fished there 4 pike several years ago I would be interested to know if it still worth a try. I used to fish 4 bream at stanley b4 it was cleared out by cormorants, Does anyone know if it has recovered.
  6. Thanks to everyone who has given me some info a few years ago I used to fish the wyre at st michaels, Is this still worth fishing as I a thinking of having a crack at it over the next few days. cheers
