I had a walk round a local beauty spot today and had a read of a free fishing lakes rules, one of their rules was no casting over 6m!! quite an odd one do you agree??
So what about a 12m pole is that allowed ? we saw one that said no photos allowed of fish ????

Hi all just wondered what anyones thoughts on the fladen range of sea rods is particularly their shore rods??? I like the look of some of them but its just the names i cant get away with.

What even at this time of the year when the fish aren't fishing well????
Obviously different waters affect tactics but i have never had a problem start with little and often perhaps a really small feeder and move up if they keep biting it works for me, i generally bream fish loch ken is south west scotland.

Its all pointless i chose to put my child in a c of e school she is now learning about muslim beliefs and she is only six you cant tell me she has learned all there is to learn about christianity, im all for tolerance and understanding of other religions but only after you have an idea of your own if you choose to adopt it.

Just said to my missis, 'i've been asked to go on a five day Alderny trip'. The reply was that she is very pleased for me and hope i have a good time. HUH ?
Is she planning a shopping trip or something while i'm away.
Don't know if i want to go now.

Yes reverse pshycology a bit like the old "im fine" when you get home from the pub and say how you doing love ? or the old "are you off fishing again"

Just wondered what everyone thinks about this question, the yanks reckon 90% of their fishing is done by lure, so why is it we are content to sit behind bite alarms waiting for the fish to come to us?

I prefer eye level myself and at around 14.99 well within your budget, just make sure you get something comfortable and well suited to your own style of fishing they are after all their for your safety as well as making you look cool.

Find some local int on the lake where the deeps are this time of year and never forget that a simple rig and bait is just as good as any other. (brown crumb feeder chop worm and caster) a winner.And if you really want some nice bream visit SHEARWATER nr warminster
Personally i prefer the feeder with chopped worm and caster keep the bait going in you would be amazed how quickly a shoal of bream can hoover up your ground bait.
