mark..... that photo of the goby is phenomenal.......... as in all your reports, they make cracking reading and viewing

we went to kayak demo dayon Saturday, i turned up in my Dorado, whilst helen took her Scupper pro, we had a great afternoon, having a splash around in kayaks we never tried before, (didnt get much time at Exmouth)
it was so good to see all the lads and lasses that use a few of the sites we belong to.
i must confess in getting payment from Andrew in the form of a cup of Coffee..... thats it ...im bought oh sh*t.... i forgot i have a kaskazi ....... Simon !!!! where is my Coffee ?
in all honesty, when i put the Exmouth meet together, Andrew was the 1st to offer his support and !!!!!!!!!! he got other manufactures interested too, and as everyone knows it rollercoastered from there.
I or helen did not recieve any gifts or payment of any discription relating to Exmouth or anything else to do with our sport, but i can tell you , all the reports written by the lads are honest reports , after getting to know them all , they are not affraid to say what they think, and it would be stupid for a manufacturer to ask otherwise,
maybe .. if some of the other manufactures put themselves out more to learn the sport, then they might, just might, get the same publicity as OK
well done lads for the weekend, it was great fun and thanks Richi for the fishing trip, always good to see you all,
cheers

Hi capt,
i got to be honest, they have actuly been quite good, yes you do need every type of public liability insurance, but they did let me have the field,
i hope its going to be a great weekend there seems to be a lot of interest and the papers have been good as have the local BBC radio,

As most of you know , there is going to be a meet up with kayak fisherman/woman with the RNLI
its a weekend of safety training , demo yaks and a fishing comp,
there will be kayaks from ... Ocean, Hobie, wilderness, malibu heritage, and more,
the whole aim is to get new comers to the sport aware of all the safety aspects, VHF, Flares. equipment, also we have some very experienced kayakers who will show paddle strokes, self rescue and anchoring,
there will be raffle tickets on sale, 1st prize is a Ocean kayak angler caper with PFD paddle
plus many more prizes to be won
the fishing comp will cost £10 to enter and juniors fish free, all profits go to the RNLI
the Event is held at the imperial ground shelly beach Exmouth on the 17th may 08 and the comp is on the 18th may 08
there will be camping at £7.50 per pitch per night, wc and showers on site,
email me if you need any more info

Can anyone in South Devon give me any good launch sites. There are two of us thinking traveling from the North of the county to try the South coast. Also what the best target species would be in that area.
Thanks
