Actually Tigger, Sensor sinks if you let it. Maybe if you're trotting with a tightish line between rod tip and float it stays on the surface OK, but it's definitely a sinker.
anderoo i have been fishing with tigger many times and i have also used daiaw sensor for long trotting and it has always floated no problem.
i would recommend this for long trotting

hi went to Greenhalgh in lancashire to fish yesterday and decided to use the feeder rod with a size 10 hook and caught 9 and my biggest was a 18.5lb carp what a buzz i got as i have been using carp rods easy to pull and not much fight,

Yes Ive got the larger version. One tip though is to always carry an Allen key for the centre grub screw as these can work loose.

have been told that when i go trotting the best reel is the centre pin,i have been using a open faced this is new to me any advise

hi i have just required a centre pin the leeds centerpin and have not tried it out yet but had a play with it and showed it to some freinds and they could not beleive how smooth it was just wondering any anglers out there used this one

Welcome to AN could I ask from the Northwest of where? I presume Lancashire way; but we do have a few on the forum from the Northwest of Scotland as well.

hi steve just to say a big thanks to everybody for there help and advise on the fishing and the barbacue,me and kevin really enjoyed our selves and would love to come again but will see what your list is like next year,would have loved to have got a tench like tigger but was not to be so will not hear the last of it from him ( ha ha ) go on tigger
