  1. Hi

I am a new member just looking for advice not secrets! Is there anywhere between Lymington and Poole where Bass can be caught on a fly reasonably consistently? I am not after secret places but 'known' spots where I stand a fair chance?

    Thanks

    Andros :)

what sort of flies do Bass like .. ?

  2. Hi all,

I am off to France at the end of may (keycamp near berny riviere)

i have never been fishing in france before, and just starting out again here

anyway my discussion is.. my hero matt hayes uses a bubble float to cast out floating bait

this is the main method i am going to try with a floating bait trout pellets or dog biscuits (hoping the weather is sunny)

has anyone fished there before or agree / disagree with my method

im goin g to france shortly too ... good subject

  3. Our lass saw one in Lidle and asked if I was getting one. I pointed out it wasnt a good idea to use a pointed hook in anything inflatable and that I would likely be drowned at sea. To which she replied "Ill buy you one".

    and puncture very easily ...

  4. Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Basically, a friend of mine would like one of my photo's framed, but I took the photo a long time ago and re-sized it for another fishing forum and just saved over the original. So I'm left with the picture at this size.

Does anyone have the know how to possibly make it a bit bigger/sharper without making it all pixelated?

Would really appreciate the help if possible.

nice pic by the way ...

  5. My roof is full of scratches because of my handirack. (not so handy!)

This is down to my own fault I confess, by not taking greater care to keep the sand off after use.

Also I had a habit of keeping the rack on for a few days. This resulted in a number of problems.

    1) Build up of sand under racks causing scratching

    2) Water coming through seal ( Wet seats)

    3) Risk of getting the thing nicked!

You learn from your mistakes I suppose. :wallbash:

that one of the reasons i wont pay out for a decent car .... damn scratches from kayaks all the roof and side .....
