    What sort of Carp rods are you HOPING to get based on the sale of the three rods?? And how many?? Just I MAY be able to help, but sorry the rods are a BIT past there sell by date!

     

     

    yeah i know there weeeeeell past sell by date i just need to get rid of them before i can get new gear

     

    thats parents for ya! im not bothered about sellin them as i already have the money to get new gear but i just thought i would try incase somebody out there wants them for really cheap

    The size of the carp you are expecting to catch is secondary really to the situation you are going to be fishing for them in. Is the water snaggy or clear? will you be fishing next to snags or in weed? long range or close range? What methods will you be using?

     

    the local lakes tend to be snaggy with weed but with several small sand banks as they are mostly gravel pits but close by is normally free of snags. i tend to fish the bottom of the lake at a long range, say 70 ft

    I take it you mean what breaking strain to use?

     

    If so this depends on the situation you want to use it in.

     

    yeah sorry i forgot to mention that. im carp fishing mostly carp around 10-20lb mostly to the lower end of that. what breaking strain should i choose and what colour is the best to avoid spooks.

    hi guys firstly why im selling the gear. i am wanting to buy some new carp rods but parents being parents say im not allowed to get new ones until i get rid of the old rods:(

     

    rod 1- shakespeare 165cm telescopic rod

    - when extended 165cm (13 3/4 feet) give or take

    - travel length 36 cm

     

    rod 2

    - 2 sections

    -slightly damaged due to a large fish breaking the connection between the 2 sections (does not affect the connection)

    -rod tip taken off for use of quiver tip only needs the investment of a tip (very cheap to get one, sorry i lost the tip that i took off)

    -about 10 feet

     

    rod 3-olympic H1203L

    -3 sections

    -3.67m

     

    selling rods separately or as 1 but it is you that calls the price but don't worry im not looking for anything over say £50 as a total as they are getting on and there is a little damage so please call your price
