Consider it done!!!
Do you want me to bring some spare floats
-
Honestly for Elips I would only use Hinders, tried others and Hinders are the best. I will be using these next season for my halibut pellets as they are skretting halibut the same as a well known bait supplier.
-
Andrew,
Gerry has not been on for nearly 2 months, so I can only presume he is still unwell. I don't think he would even consider going fishing in the winter at the minute.
Elton has not shown any interest, might not have any floats left.
Come on Elton are you up fo this or what?
-
Elton,
Please take a look here

I am going to say it is provisionally full as I am going to reserve the last two slots for Elton and Nick. If he gets back to me and does not want them then I will open it up again.

Chris,
I am sure there will be some bigger fish about this year. Last year my mate and I had a few 2lb+ fish between us, biggest was 2.10 if memory serves me correct.
-
I have booked the fishery for our sole use on the above date, deposit sent. Cost is £17 a head payable in advance to me, as I have had to pay up front for the day. PLEASE PUT YOUR USER I.D ON CHEQUES SO I KNOW WHO THEY ARE FROM.
Fishing is from 9am, same as last year. Regarding where we can fish, the Trout section is clearly marked and cannot be fished. I have had a lot of interest in this already, as I mentioned it on a previous thread. It is on a first come first served basis and payment confirms your place. 24 people maximum but will stop at 20 if it slows up, which I doubt. Please note no fly fishing is allowed.
This is a fantastic and well run fishery as I am sure many will agree. The potential of a 3lb Grayling is a real possibilty. Also contains some big Chub, Barbel, Roach and obviously Trout. Cars can be driven along the river so no need for long walks.
I suggest for those who want a breakfast we meet at Asda in Eastleigh at about 7.30 otherwise at the fishery about 8.30. Adsa is only about 10-15 mins away from the fishery.
Payment to be sent to

Chris,
I did not say that!!!
I said one went for £50 on ebay the other day.
-
Fair play to Graham for peservering, he spent 21 out of 30 days on the bank for that fish and it came from a swim that had not produced for 3 months.
Phil,
The 350 a year does not include membership to MKAA which you also require, another £30 on top. I looked at putting my name down for this stretch last season, but eventually decided not to, as I could not justify the cost. Pegs are also drawn out of a hat before fishing.
-
I thought last nights was rubbish. It was at least half an hour into the programme before any fishing was done and then he was catching 4oz trout.
-
Not the best method in the world to use for Grayling as they tend to swallow the hooks. If you are going to feeder fish for them then use really short hook lengths.
-
Hi Mark,
Hope you have a great time and a truly wonderful place that I would love to visit.
-
Chris, any joy on the centrepin?
-
Close face for me too all the time.
Abu 1044, very good reel. These are much better than the later 704's.
-
Personally I would, not that I am sick but I am intersted to see what actually happened.
On more serious note, I thought Steve Irwin was an incredible man and he did wonderfull things.
The world will not be the same with him.
Terri his wife is an incredible woman too and she brought tears to my eyes when she presented
Sir Richeard Attenborough with his life time achievement award the other night.

W*****S, the lot of them. I really hope these people one day get what is due to them.
-
Good luck to you all for tomorrow, wish I had put my name down now as I would have been able to make it, not to worry. Don't forget the camera Ferret.
Just a reminder, I shall be organising a trip to the Itchen again for February sometime and it will be a saturday Lyn, so keep your eyes peeled as it will fill very quickly.
-
Bum, would have loved that so I could have a little play.
-
Just noticed this thread.
Gerry, sorry to hear of your troubles, get well soon.
-
lets hope it does not clash with the Itchen fish-in that I will organise sometime in February.
Organised one last year and it was very popular, I expect it will be again as it is a cracking fishery.

Thanks to those who were prompt to pay. Be warned I will not chase people up, if I have not had your payment by 23rd Dec I will offer those places to someone else. I don't usually have a problem, but at least everyone knows where they stand.
