Dosen't looks like it includes a sea section, are they the trusts home grown members who ruined the last forum as the trust did say they couldn't control it? So is there a difference between the salties and the fresh water guys then.

 

I think you'll find it is the AT North West Freshwater Forum

It is the name of the body/committee, not a 'forum board' type forum.

 

These regional AT Freshwater Forums, which are open to all - not solely AT members, will be part funded by the EA and the AT has secured three years funding from the EA to engage a National Regional Coordinator

 

It is envisaged that these Regional Forums will take on some of the work previously carried out by the now scrapped RFERAC's

I've yet to be won over by the spin, am tired of people trying to bully anglers into joining, and won't be signing up until I see good reason to.

 

So sorry you feal this way Elton, I would have thought that several reasons to join would be obvious.

 

Never ever be surprised at what poeple do...or don't do

 

I have been away from this site for some time, it may be a good while before my return.

P.S. My dictionary (Concise Oxford 9th Edition) says a sport requires both physical exertion and competition, neither of which usually apply to angling.

 

Angly, You should try fishing some sections of the Wear. I have jokingly said in the past that the SAS used to use it in its training programme but they had two many failures. Winter League matches used to be fished on one particular section but in time anglers refused to even attempt to get to their pegs.
