[What is your best bait for Tench ?]

Can any of you tell me what is your best bait for Tench? I want to catch some tench on this pit that can get very weeded over in summer can someone help? I have never fished for tench on there yet.

The best bait is HAM with a long shank hook normal size and under a float

Is tench fishing any good in the winter? I might go next week.

Yes u can go fishing in Winter they wont bit has much but u will still catch them just yous ham as bait and a float try places

1-2 Meters deep that sould help
