[method feeder rod?]

Any suggestions on a methd feeder rod capable of casting a 30g method feeder.

 

I just cast to open water, about 40 yards.

Got a budget of 40/50 £

 

this will be my first rod so need something that will allow for my bad casting lol

Is it better to use pellets or groundbait when the weather gets colder?

 

Some groundbaits have lots of big peices of food in them.

I use sweetcorn too. Should I be using something else if I want to catch bigger fish?

my mate has a nice reel that he uses for float fishing,

I think it is a shakespeare xt. its a lot smoother than the old mitchell one that he lets me use.

I've just started fishing and love the method feeder.

 

Can i still use it in the winter? How do I cut down on the amount of feed I use.

 

The mould thingy's ( ) use the same amount every time.

I'm new to fishing. My mate took me a couple of times and now i'm hooked on fishing the method hence the forum name
