Well i gave it a go and i say that using the method is brilliant going to be using it more often thanks for the help.

im going to try the method 2morro on my local water but my question is i want to keep the mix simple as i normal fish sweetcorn and spam on a hair rig.so what would i put in the mix. :confused: :confused:

"Something else that will help with any paste is one of those little spring things you put on the hook shaft. Mold the paste into it and it will stay on nicely."
Yes korum paste springs costs £1.10 3 size 3 of each size in the pack.9 springs not bad and they work really well

Yes it is a wonderful country but for me leaving it behind i do miss it..twitchandjerk:By the way Zimbabwe is still a wonderful country to visit despite Robert Mugabwe's efforts to ruin the place.

Yes i does thankstwitchandjerk:FYI. My girlfriend lives out on Enterprise Rd, Harare and I visit her three times a year managing to spend a few days on Kariba and some more time fishing one of the rivers. She has lived there for 30 years or so. Hope this clears up your question.

Can i just say that you seem to know alot about Zimbabwe how is that?I hope you do not mind me asking you this but as you may know i am for Zimbabwe and i lived in Harare and i did alot of fishing on the kariba dam or Zambezi.

I went fishing on the weekend for tench and i fished with sweetcorn and red maggots.And i caught two tench one was 4 pounds and the other just under 4 pounds one carp 8 pounds one bream 3 pounds.i just want to say thanks for the help and tips i was given by everyone.i think that was a go starting point. i think that the sweetcorn is so far one of the best baits i tried for tench.

Well i will fish any water that i can .In all weather conditions and at any time.i think that the more i can learn about tench the easier it will be for me to fish for them.

Well i,m new to fishing in the Uk but about 10 years fishing in Zimbabwe and about 2 years on and off in the Uk.

Well i` no master but i use red maggots on a size 16 hook,a cage feeder about two foot away from the hook filled with a mix of bread crumbs and stupid bait it does the trick all the time.
