  4. Why

females should avoid a girls night out after they are married....

If this does not make you laugh out loud, you have lost your sense of humour

The other night I was invited out for a night with the 'girls.' I told my

husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!' Well, the hours passed

and the margaritas went down way too easily.

Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home.

Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and

    cuckooed 3 times.

Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9

    times.

I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution,

in order to escape a possible conflict with him. Even when totally smashed... 3

cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals = 12 Cuckoos (MIDNIGHT!)

The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him

'MIDNIGHT'... he didn't seem pi*sd off in the least.

Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said 'We need a new cuckoo clock.'

When I asked him why, he said, 'Well, last night our clock cuckooed three

times, then said 'oh sh*t' Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed

another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the

    coffee table and farted.

  5. Ask the PM..from the PMe-PetitionsPetition ResponsesMonday 22 February 2010

    Rsa-eu-proposal - epetition response

    We received a petition asking:

“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to resist the proposed changes from the EU in relation to Recreational Sea Angling (RSA).”

    Details of Petition:

“The EU are proposing drastic changes to RSA by seeking to implement changes that will have devastating effects for already struggling & deprived coastal communities by placing major restrictions on Sea Angling. If allowed to happen, this will have a grave negative financial impact on the communities that depend on income generated from visiting anglers for their survival. Many jobs will be affected by the implementation of Article 47 of the proposal which seeks to treat low impact recreational fishing in the same manner as high impact commercial fisheries. Hotels, Cafés, Bars, Fuel Stations, Charter Vessel Operators, Local Shops all depend on income brought to coastal communities from visiting anglers which they can’t afford to lose. The EU paper fails to show any perceived negative impact that RSA cause to our fisheries and also fails to note the positive impact they have on small communities which will suffer as a result of implementation. Please support your local communities & RSA.”

    · Read the petition

    · Petitions homepage

    Read the Government’s response

The UK Government opposed the proposals in their original form because of their potential impact on recreational sea anglers. Our discussions with stakeholders including the Angling Trust, supported and further informed our assessment of the impact of the original proposal as a complicated and unwieldy measure that would have introduced strict controls without any real appreciation of the impact of recreational fishing on the wider marine environment. As a result of the opposition mounted to the proposal, the scope of the measure has been confined to recreational fishing from a vessel and only for stocks subject to multiannual plans (cod, hake and certain sole and plaice stocks). It does not include fishing from the shore. Also, recreational catches for these stocks are no longer required to be counted against quota – as was set out in the original proposal. Member States are though required to monitor such catches by way of a sampling plan.

Before Article 55 of Regulation 1224/2009 (previously Article 47) is implemented further detailed rules must be adopted. These will be negotiated in the coming months and will include agreement on the form the sampling plans must take. The UK Government will look for rules that allow it flexibility to target its efforts in those areas and on those vessels likely to be having the greatest impact on threatened fish stocks, but which do so in a way that will not place undue burdens on the vast majority of recreational sea anglers.

The UK Government will consult stakeholders, including angling representatives, before finalising its national arrangements.

  6. AN ACTUAL 'CRAIG'S LIST PERSONALS' AD

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last.

    Dat e: 2009-05-27, 1 :43 a.m. E.S.T.

I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket.. The even ing was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason.. My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head ... isn't it?!

I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge in your pants.. I'm sure it was even worse walking bare-footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again].

After I called your mother or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as those of four other people in the gas station, -- on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful!

I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]

I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.

Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what 's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target.

The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.).

;In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing is sue s, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen to pur sue in life. Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.Have a good day!

    Thoughtfully yours,

    Alex

  7. a'm i correct in thinking the the sale of live stock/fish ain't allowed on ebay

    Policy overview

You can sell a few types of animals and wildlife products, though there are some things that can't be listed on eBay because of complex government regulations and various laws both in the United Kingdom and internationally.

Check out the list of items below to find out what you can and can't sell on eBay. If an item is allowed or restricted, be sure to follow our guidelines, shipping restrictions, and applicable laws. You also need to check if selling or shipping these items requires a license, permit, or other paperwork.

Make sure your listing follows our guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and your buying and selling privileges could be restricted.

    Certificates and Permits

Applications for Article 10 certificates should be submitted to Defra, or the Irish Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. Export permits can also be obtained from Defra. Information about licensing and application forms for Article 10 certificates and export permits can be found at:

    http://www.ukcites.gov.uk/license/default.htm.

Please state in your item listing whether you are in possession of an Article 10 certificate if it is required.

For information on Ireland's licensing and permit rules, visit www.environ.ie.

  8. i have the interceptor ( free gift ) bigger than my 1000 gte but still an allround good reel very smooth only problem i had was when fishing a night session in freezing conditions the reel froze up as the gtes didnt

i have been using Okumas for a few years if you strip them down and lube them with (Norwegian fire oil) military spec £10.00 for 150ml spray they wont freeze

1 spray should last about 100 fishing trips remember to clean any old lube off first

so a bottle should last about 3-5 years

    :rolleyes::rolleyes:

  10. A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he explained, "Lord have mercy! I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband, that's against the law? I'll lose my licence! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "You didn't tell me you had a prescription."

  11. now what you require for self protection is a small light 4 barreled derringer 32 cal or even 22 cal with 4 pin falling block firing pin

one pull of the trigger and 4 shots at once the same recoil as a 410 shotgun aimed about gut height slightly right of centre

result 1 very crippled bad dude/dudette

  12. Do they do a guaranteed nut free version for carp with nut allergies?

Anyway why all this foreign food mallarkey if they are native fish? Why not boiled beef and carrot flavour, toad-in-the-hole, fish 'n' chips, or cottage pie flavour?

Don't tell me you're going to post a load of links with those on now

Probably because carp aren't native to the UK
