  1. I know two English men who are married to asian women so it can work out. They are both married to Thai's however they both spent a lot of time abroad and met their partners on there travels while living abroad and both had learned some Thai and was at least fairly aware of the culture. One now lives in the UK with his wife and the other lives in Thailand.

I also know a friend who had an online relationship and he had some issues around money, tickets etc no need to go in to details and never ended up seeing his lady face to face in the end. So it's never clear cut but I would suggest getting to know some one in person when you meet them in person and the relationship develops from that is different to an online/phone relationship. I also know people who have met a partner on dating websites and so there is no standard way to find love. I would just suggest be aware of all possibilities.

  2. The problem with writing about religion is that you run the risk of offending sincerely religious people, and then they come after you with machetes.

The same with occult bods. There does seem to be more people about practicing weird s&&& these days. I don't think any of it's real but plenty do, it's like we are going backwards.

  3. In some parts of the world frogs are used as bait. It's a very gold Snakehead bait.

Is there a difference between our native frogs and the French edible ones?

  4. The water temp' down here in Charente is still only 2.5C so I'll be waiting a month or two before trying for the cats.

I'm with Budgie on the venues; can't do with artificial fishing, McFishing I call it. For the last five years except for a couple of sessions on campsite lakes I've fished nothing but natural waters.

How do you define natural? Rivers and canals are natural or at least not stocked or not stocked often but would you class reservoirs and lakes as natural as they have all been stocked at some point of another.

  5. I tried out a new boillie called V12, it worked a treat on the first trip, but I struggled on the other trips. I did try Squid and Liver bollies and had a few Cats, but big halibut pelltets was an excellent bait. A bunch of popped up lob worms caught me my biggest and numerous Cats, the problem is the shoals of Bream in there loved the worm as well.

Thank you, do you know what sort of size the Bream are?

  6. blimey to get two people in you would have to "spoon"! 105 cm is less than the width of my sleeping bag :o

double the people to get any idea of scale for real humans ,thats two midget Chinese people in that tent!

Is that not a little disrespectful to overseas visitors?

The tent looks good enough to me and great value and its green.
