I PURCHASED A 706 REEL FROM GO-OUTDOORS

THE FIRST TIME I USE IT , I COULD`NT RELEASE THE LINE THE BUTTON JUST DID`NT WORK

I RETURNED IT TO GO-OUTDOORS WHERE THE ORDERED ME A NEW ONE

ONE WEEK LATER, I RECIEVED THE NEW REEL AND FIRST TIME I USED THAT ONE IT JAMMED UP

I TOOK THAT BACK ALSO

THE THING IS THESE REELS COST £62 QUID

AND IT SAYS ON THE BOX AND ADVERTS A REEL FOR LIFE

thankyou m8 i was watching a video on youtube by shimano and that showed using a pencil though the supply reel

and pulling line off

i think thats wrong

what in your opinion is the correct way to transfer new line onto the reel

to avoid twist

why is it that when me and my sister go fishing every week

we use the same bait and setup, she catches more and better fish than me

i was once told that female anglers give off a sent or fem vibes or something that males dont

as anyone any thoughts on this matter

17lb 6oz carp on a spliced-tip match rod, 1lb bottom, fine wire 20.

I didn't so much play it as baffle it, really. I thought I was snagged up under the rod tip until it moved (I'd been undoing a tangle so it was a proper fluke).

It's debatable whether it knew it was hooked; it just went round in circles in the margins for an hour or so and then gave up.

hi again, i just started fishing last year, i invested in all the gear but just enough to get me going i go with my brother mainly he has taught me all i know about fishing but theres still alot to learn, last year we went to sutton bonnington near where we live and i caught 7 carp in one session, i cant explain the excitement i felt when hooking these fish i am looking forward to this year i no its the closed season, but theres a place where we go that you can fish all year round , i love it and hope to fish more this year...........sheila

Hi all again can't wait for the season to start again

the weather seems to be resonable at the moment as its been a mild few months

this year.

wonder if that will be benifial this year

my biggest fish last year was a 26 1/2lb mirror carp from the margins
