  1. Has to be of benefit to both customers and sellers! Due to the ever increasing Ebay Fees many items are not viable to sell due to their low value. A decrease in initial fees and final value fees makes this much more feasible. As in all auctions, any buyer does not have to bid above what they consider a reasonable figure, in addition, the seller should be able to make some money. So an all round reduction in fees (as in ebid) must be beneficial to both parties.

  2. This relatively new site is improving in status day by day.

It is not full of banned Ebay members a I have a shop on this site. It does offer lower fees for sellers which in turn will reflect in cheaper prices for the customer and lower volume/value sales will become much more feasible. Although Paypal fees are obviously still payable.

It also offers a great life time membership (for an initial upfront fee) for Sellers where no ongoing fees are chargeable except a 2% final sale fee. ie no insertion fees, relisting fees etc. Which at the moment is a must do because as the site increases in popularity the Fees are bound to go up and insertion Fees would likely to be considered.

Day to Day auctions can be totally free... depending on which display option is chosen.

The user interface is not quite so friendly as Ebay but a bit of practice makes perfect. The sale parameters are also much more flexible.

Has anyone used ebid as a buyer or seller????? I just found the website and it looks like they are trying to rival ebay, I just woindered if it was full of sellers that are banned from ebay or if there are some good deals to be had as it looks like sellers can list for less, that must mean savings for buyers?
