  1. Hi FOZALLY.

    Thanks NEWT.

JEFF, Still not allowed to P.M. you so hope you dont mind a few questions.

Have you got photo of all the other equipment/clothing and in particular the dent in the kayak.

    Is there a trolley.

Is the original list everything that is included.

What make are the dry pants.

    What make/model paddle.

What size/height are you to give me some idea if the clothing would fit.

    Thanks.

No trolley. I'll need a few days to get pictures and details posted. I'm 6'3". When I bought the clothing I was 18 stone. The original list is accurate minus 25' of paracord.

  2. [Apologie if this is the second request but I think I might not have added my last one.

Is your kayak still for sale ?.....If yes, where are you from in N/Yorks ?

  3. Hi Guys. Long time eh?

I've got this Prowler 13 for sale. Lots of miscellaneous items to go with it. Basically everything that I bought to fit it out, carry it and can't use elsewhere will go with this kayak. It has been wet a half dozen times and has never been in salt water. It has a few minor scratches. When I got it from the supplier, (initially came from Johnson Outdoors) it had a small dent on the side. This did not seem to affect the tracking and they said it could be worked out with a little heat.

It's been a long time since I've had time to get out and do any sort of fishing. At least the sort that this involves and with other hobbies no time... That and also lack of space is why I'm selling.

Sorry but I will not ship these items. They will need to be picked up locally from post code HG4 or alternatively, delivery within say 30 miles.

    Edited:

  4. Strange that it acts the same way with both NICs. Since you get a reply from AN, can you tracert from the command line and see how many hops? Not that it matters really. It would be interesting to see what the traffic looks like at any rate. Have you ever used wireshark? It's free packet sniffing software.

It sounds like firewall but that was turned off right?

  5. Sorry to tread Cory. It's also worth pointing out that in the output from :Game shown here:

that the router is working properly as it has given the local wired adaptor an address from its DHCP pool. I would untick IPv6 in the properties for that adaptor. Also it won't hurt to change the DNS servers on the adaptors to 212.139.132.27 primary and 212.139.132.26 secondary as already suggested.

To do this you would have to use the same ip address and subnet mask but tick > from obtain an ip address automatically to > use this ip address.

  6. If this is from your working PC N4lly then you are missing your wireless adaptor for your non-working pc.

Sometimes IPv6 on Vista does give a bit of grief. Don't delete it- just go to the properties of the adaptor you are using and untick the box if you are sure your ISP isn't using it.

I bet once you get the dongle properly installed all you have to do is set it to automatic and you'll be up and running.

Then download a bootable disk for ubuntu and install it in place of vista. :)

  7. I have this image of talking to the surf dudes in zero gravity at Whitby and asking for some pi$$ off, then the dude gets angry thinking im being rude and blacks both my eyes.

 Made my day that! Thanks Glen!

  8. Leon- Are you trying to share drives from each? Right click the drive you want and select properties. There is an option for sharing. I think you may also have to create a workgroup and use the hostnames from each of your computers. It's been a while.. Once a drive has been shared you should see a hand underneath the icon.

  9. Yep- Received a 9.5' fly rod right across the chest as the guy I was approaching started his cast. He had onehellofa birdsnest after. To this day I will not offer to let anyone in on the fly that is catching. He sure taught me a lesson. :)

At least you still have your eye. You should have left it in. I see all sorts with metal hanging out of their faces.

  10. Some are useful, some aren't, if you configure Windows to just tell you about them and not download automatically, then you can choose which you want.

And this is good because you know what has been put on and so avoid the issues like what happened recently with the last windows update that affected Zonealarm and I think skype. The updates are scheduled ahead of time.
