norrie wait to see if the bank contact whoever rec'd the money ,if anyone did !! they can see who was using the machine and if you refused to return it they could contact the police and it would be theft .so wait and see, if i was whoever it was

on Tuesday night we were burgled ,they broke in and stole my wifes handbag and her phone then as they had the keys nicked the car .
as you can imagine the wife etc is a bit upset .
now here the thing they then used her phone to call someone at 2.30 am .vodaphone have told us as it is pay as you go we will have to write to them to get the number phoned and it will take up to 6 weeks .the police say that they also find it hard to get information ,vodaphone say they have a police information line the police don,t seem to know about !!.
so do any of you clever types know any way we can find the number that was called ,i know the mobile number of my wifes phone and I'm not checking up on her honest .just want to see these scum locked up before i find other means to exact revenge .if anyone has any ideas let me know i can e mail her mobile if required .cheers big AL

norrie we went for sealed bids ,where everyone intrested had to make an offer by a certain time ,then thay had a time limit to exchange .seemed to work and we got a good price.never tried an auction suspect you may get less than you want but i suppose you can put a limit on .good luck big al

me and richard (marzi) met up the last two wednesdays .blanked at my club lake and had a good night at the lizard .really enjoyable two nights fishing with someone only met through this site .really does appreciate how good this site is thanks elton and all .cheers big al

kendo i fished a pool about the same the other night had the same problums ,only at 9.30 pm did they really feed well and i had a 10lb and a 7lb .one of the locals suggested 4 swan shot just up from the hook giving a semi bolt effect ,he said it worked for a while .cheers big al

Jim they do different size inserts and your right they don't all fit .go into a shop and get them to show you the floats that the starlights fit into .get one out of the packet and check .it is nuisance as surely they should be interchangeable but no .hope that helps big AL

Phil interesting i had 8 over the pound mark biggest 2lb 2Oz from a river the other night ,all on red maggot !.i tried worm as i thought they would go for bigger baits but no luck .was using my pole and rushing them out away from snags into the middle of the river ,before bringing them in to land .nice fish though well done.cheers big AL

ok guys my nash titan is 10 years old and looking a bit sorry ,so the question is what should i buy .if money was no object, weight not a factor ,oh and it needs to be 2 man so my girls can come with me .what do you think is the very best on the market . i have looked at previous threads but the seem to concentrate on the cheaper end no probs with that ,but i like my comfort.cheers big al

snatcher there is an amount above which if the total value of the estate goes your have to apply for probate (i think it is £13000 ) .this is the legal part where you go to a probate office fill in forms that tell them you are the only relative .they then stamp the forms and all companys accept your are the rightful beneficiary of the estate .
as to the life policy yes that can be the case i see many people who think they have life cover when it is accident cover .
her bank will probably pay the funeral bill for you until it can be resolved .

elton this one really got me mad ,they can't get a computer to work propably to save their lives, (CSA working tax credits etc) how do the think they can track 30 million cars .
they don't they will just give consultants 100 million over 5 years to look into it and come back and say it wont work .this really stinks and i hope the people will rise up and march on downing street (well write a nasty letter then

you could also try to put the pole under the water this can slow them down .if you are losing 8 out 10 perhaps a rod and line set up would be best .good luck big al

terry its what keeps us all going the thought that there may be a monster fish lurking in the depths ,when we had a fish kill 20 years ago 3 thirties came up that no one had caught .good to see that sense prevails on your lake and some idiot is not trying to catch them whilst they are busy.cheers big al

Al i never felt you were having a go at me ,perhaps my reply could be read that way ,i was having a go at the Real story who could not be ass-ed to ask questions that seemed easy, IE where is the money ? .banks are easy targets and sometimes they get things wrong, if they do they should pay up as we did in this case .
But i do get fed up of this mentality of no person has to take responsibility for their actions ,if it goes wrong blame someone else and ask for compensation .rant over !! .

peter the bank should refund you ,tell them you never agreed to it and ask to see the mandate ,im sure it won't be worth the time trying to find it ,ask for an immediate refund .cheers big al

Skippy thanks for that made me and my wife smile a lot ,the vodaphone link works but as the phone is barred it won't let us register ,i will keep on with the police as you say they can get the info .
