NWSA results 27.4.03...Weather.. South West 15mph with some gusting to 20mph..and dry all day.
With the introduction of two extra casting weights 50grm and 75grm we had some new records as well as some old ones falling.A mass of PBs as you can see and there were a few more which were PBs on a particular weight not shown.Some great, casting keep it up.

I was down there last week mike,its a digrace,they dont care what they do,caught a bloke hiding a bag full of crap down there last year,told him to take it home with him,he told me were to go,then for some reason he decided to go for a swim,must of tripped,lolol,told the farmer,he's banned now,

Now i though,with the comments you made you new somthing about the sport,you dont,same old thing,if someone finds somthing distastfull or they dont know what they are talking about they want to ban it,Peter Waller:Thanks for the info. Didn't see the TV prog I'm afraid. From what you have said it sounds like a scaled down affair of the horses and hounds version. That being the case I would have thought that exactly the same moral and ethical objections would apply, wouldn't you?

if you are going to fish it mike nows the time for the big bags,it needs a bit of colour to realy fish propper,but you can still have a good session in clear conditions.
Tony,i have caught ells from it in summer,but only small ones,i think it is poached for the ells,talking to an ea guy,he said they have been keepinbg there eyes out for netters,so there must be a few in it,tend not to get them on the float,

Mike,it is stuffed with fish all the way along,the place to start is ulswalton lane,park in the gateway as you cross it,theres a pool 50yrds from your car that ive had 20lb nets of roach,chub and trout,
take the first left after the bridge,go down the lane for 1/2 mile,park in the layby,walk down the pfootpath and theres a pool about 200yrds to the right thats 10ft deep with an island in the middle,chub to 3lb,big roach the odd barbel and trout,

lets face it,the lads that are fishing at the quarry,who arnt members of paas,dont give a rats arse,they have fished it all there life,and there not goin to stop,can you blame them,i cant.
