It is in the Edinburgh evening news tonight about it. Education Secretary Alan Johnston mp for Hull contacted Norwich Union about the trawlermen who paid into pension schemes in the 60s and 70s it say's Norwich Union is to employ a specialist tracing agency to find hundreds of ex-fishermen who paid into it.

Asking a question like that won't get a lot of answers as you dont know who is looking at the forums and if people put down the locations of good places it would get over dug and there would be no rag to find

For anyone who may be interested , especially the Scottish lads , the SSA have booked the fields at Cults Castle Kennedy near Stranraer right through the summer for a set of casting days .These are non tournament days just a set of lads having a cast on a court so if anyone would like to come along you would be made most welcome. Whether you'd just like to see have far your casting to wanting some tuition from some of the best casters in Scotland come along dont be shy ,the hardest thing is to just turn up !
The remaining dates are as follows :
22nd May
19th June
31st July
11th Sept
25th Sept Casting Day
9th Oct New Tournament season begins.
23rd Oct
20th Nov
If you want to cast a small fee will be payable by all but juniors as we have to pay for the hire of the field .
If anyone wants to bring a junior along please do as we have 4 or 5 casting with us regularly.
