  1. ...and now it doesn't work!

It must be the 123-reg.co.uk redirect server. The whole company have been useless lately. I'll amend my sig and transfer the whole domain tomorrow, if it's still not working. Cheers for letting me know.

    your most welcome

also the problem i see with this link : http://www.tacklebargain.com/

is it should read : http://www.tacklebargains.com/

top one has an "s" missing in it that's all.

    me thinks

  2. another thing Elton, ur link in ur sign here: CLICK HERE for TackleBargains - thousands of lines of discounted fishing tackle!

don't work, i looked at the hyper link and it has an s missing m8, just thought i'd let u know.

    :wallbash::blink::thumbs:

  3. TackleBargains uses Actinic Catalog, with their payments being processed by Protx, which is about as safe as it gets!

No, there aren't any coupons, but if you use this link, a percentage goes towards Anglers' Net :D

    thanks Elton

will go through the buying process again using ur link this time, u sure there's nothing in it for me? lol

  4. hi all

    long time no see

just a quick question, is this site safe to buy from: Tacklebargains.co,uk

i have gone through the buying process and before i put my card details in, i just need to see if it's safe.

there don't seem to be any padlock at the bottom of my browser, it don't feel safe to me!

also, if it's safe, is there any coupons from here that i can use, to get it cheaper?

PS bet you missed me :headhurt:

you will always be remembered by those that had the pleasure of your kind words and company Gerry.

my self, I'll fondly remember him always.

    a real gentleman.

my deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends and all he touched.

    Rest in peace Gerry

England may have been a bit of a melting pot in days of old when invasions and the like were the norm but that's called history.  I like to think that's what makes it a bit more culturally diverse and interesting.  Now if I were American then I wouldn't understand what you were talking about.  But then History from an American perspective is just a few hundred years

    rob

    um where to start.

you think that history and the melting together of peoples makes for an interesting life.

yeah right, if only it was that simple.

looking at it from a Childs point of view, yes that's spot on rob.

in reality I'd say that was about as different as cheese and chalk,

but don't take my word for it, how many of us trust our neighbours, I mean really know them and feel comfortable with their funny moods/ways.

I don't or cannot even begin to understand my neighbours let alone the whole nation.

fear, the weather, ignorance, that feeling of loss, all add up to a troubled ppl.

the same can be applied to almost any where which has the same kind of history.

then again, if you are a leader of peoples, you might want to keep them divided, it's hard to control a people united.

I dunno, maybe I'm looking to deep into things.

to answer you rob, where am i going with this, in truth, just here for now. :D

  7. Wallace is most defiantly a great family name to be in, you lucky so-and-so.

it all depends on if your parents whether born in other places, where from English parents?

this thread sounds like I'm a national front git, I am most certainly not.

1/4 cork me, a bit of French and of cause jersey, Eh, by the way

PS any relation to WILLIAM WALLACE.

"Now if I were American then I wouldn't understand what you were talking about"

you don't really know what I'm trying to open up here Rob.

as for American's, native is a word some would understand.

and "history, I like to think that's what makes it a bit more culturally diverse and interesting"

    confused more like.

no , I have a sneaking feeling that the native Englander, is still around and kicking.

all this unrest or whinges as you put it, is only the tip of the ice berg.

    lest we forget!

  9. yes Phil very humorous. :D

no what I'm trying to say is, I think the moaning in the English mindset is probably no more that a remnant of the original English people.

you know, from when they were conquered/taken over by who ever.

    who knows?

I give up trying to work it out.

viva England, and the revolution. :D

  10. are you English Ferret.

I mean to say, what is your lineage.

how many ppl in England can say they are really English.

I see England as a country of people, so lost and far away from their own history, as I see say the people of the USA.

that's not meant as a derogatory, but more like who is of English lineage, if traced back before the Germans and the French took up residents there.

i'll ask again, are you English Ferret?

  11. England expects Bad news.

as my outsiders point of view of British people matures, I have witnessed one constant.

    you like to be unhappy/complain....

it doesn't matter what the subject, for instance:...

...in the papers or on the TV and radio news...(always bad news)

    ...the weather is too hot/cold/wet/dry...

...that (pick any one from any party here) politician is a liar...

    ...that royal....

    ...that coach....

...that pop/entertainer/TV host/lime light is too dam.....

...the list goes on and on and on....

what ever the sociological problems you English have, I'll give you this much, you love to share it.

looking on where England borders other nationals, like Wales or Scotland or Ireland, you get the picture.

so, what does the rest of the world really think of the English?

I'll be brave, and tell you from my point of view what I see, your on your own.

my advice is to make the most of life.

party on dudes, eat drink and be merry, but don't upset your neighbours.

    i'll get the door!
