Hey Danny, Jerry came from my hometown and got popularity when he was the youngest mayor in the U.S.Danny H:Newt, talking of North Versus South.
In the U.S
What is all this Jerry Springer Take the Pi## out of Poor southerners t.v all about.
Whenever J.S is on t.v, all I ever see are Southerners making themselves look very stupid.
If they were of one religion, or Colour, then somebody would step in too say that they were being victimised, and need saving.
But as it stands these people get wheeled out one after the other to look like complete idiots, and
98% of the time they are Southerners.
Is this for the more sophisticated Northern types to sneer at the "Southern Trash"? or what.
Having said that, in New Orleans, a man actually asked me " What language do you speak in England", go figure!!
You see.

We like them pretty blue eyed angus & charolais...LMAOPeter Waller:Hey, wait a minute, East Anglia, the hill free swamp does count, if only for the quality of our ale! Check out our Breweries & the CAMRA Awards that they get. Adnams Ales is like virgin's water, hard to find but well worth searching out. And we don't pander to our sheep, no way, horses is our thing, a man's mount! The Suffolk Punch is world famous, even have 'em in the U.S. Sheep . . . baa!

NEWT, I love it when the river is that high, except when I`m at work...
I`ll take advantage of it and hit every feeder creek & stream I can. The fish will hightail it up them for relief from the mud & current. Then it`s almost like fishing out of a barrel...LOL

Fish was caught in a gravel pit near
Cincinnati
It was the struggle of his lifetime, but when it was over, an eight-year-old Clark County boy had quite a fish tale to tell. after reeling in a 53 pound catch.
Josh Cobb, who weights just 66 pounds himself, worked for more than 10 minutes to reel in a 53 pound carp last weekend while fishing in a gravel pit in Newtown, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
"It pulled about 20 times harder than a cat fish, " said Josh, who is already an experienced fisherman. "I thought my dad was going to go crazy."
His proud father, Dan Cobb, explained how it happened. "My son's floater went down, and I said there it goes, there it goes. He went over and hooked into it, next thing I know, he said, 'Dad it's pulling me, it's taking all my line.'"
The father and son team usually catch and release, but not this time.
"I had no idea what we had." said Dan. "All I knew was we had to get pictures of it with my son."
At first they thouht it might be a record catch, but later learned what they landed was a Grass Carp. The Ohio Division of Wildlife does not keep records on Grass Carp catches, but said if this had been a common carp, it would have broken the state record of 50 pounds, set in 1967.
"It does not count, but it's still a great catch for an eight-year-old," said wildlife biologist Debbie Walters.
Walters said grass carp can typically weigh up to 100 pounds.
