  1. For the first time ever i book a Christmas lunch out.

    I booked a Christmas Lunch at The Pullman in Folkestone, for Boxing day.

    Arrived to be told, sorry we are not doing Christmas lunch, we are back to our normal Menu, sorry we should not have taken your booking.

    Oh well, i'll have a Ribeye. 5 mins later she comes back, sorry we have no Ribeye :doh:

    I had a rump, a bloody lovely it was too ^_^

  2. People are getting too good at this game, n4lly's eggs look very tasty and Phone's steak is mouth watering.

    There'll be no 'after' photos of my offering just in case I mess up the cooking, if I don't it'll be eaten too quickly anyway. A perfect end to a very enjoyable day's trotting on the Kennet;

  3. There were only two "kingdoms" that united. (Wales was a principality and NI is just a region?)

    Without Scotland the UK can no longer claim to be a united kingdom so it would just become "The Kingdom"

    Glad I don't live there any more. The sweatys were bad enough before. After independence they will be insufferable

    "The Kingdom"

    Like It.

  4. Your having a laugh mate. England will have to pay full market rates for the oil, gas and electrcity we export to England. There is still plenty of Black Gold under the North Sea, and we have not even had much more than a scratch at what is under the West Coast.

    Germans cope quite well. Keep your black gold, we'll buy in cheaper else where, as for electricity, France is closer.
