  1. i think your problem stems from your manager.

i hope england do well, but cant see it while hes sat on the bench.sorry, just myopinion

    too true mate.

sven has nothing to prove.....his salary is enough anyway. :headhurt:

    what does he care?

second half was all about what the next manager of england wants.

    PLAYERS!

let the players play and then we will win! :1a:

  2. I have 2 Cortland 444sl lines for sale. The lines have hardly been used as I use other lines for 99% of my fishing. Ideal saltwater or pike lines.

1x WF9F rocket taper. Colour- Green, Lightly used (less than 10 times, over clean ground), A1 condition - £30

1x WF9S rocket taper. This is a type1 line, so is really an intermediate. Colour- Grey, used once, as new condition - £30

Both lines come complete with original packaging and P&P is included. I could deliver within 15 miles of Warminster, Wilts (It's a 10 mile round trip to the post office anyway)

    PM if interested.

    Cheers, Martin

as saltwater fly begginer i`ll give it a miss this time funds are tight and i have enough lines.still beating water with the flies you and snatcher gave me.

out at 6 morow morning after mackerel so fingers crossed.wind behind so one good backcast should put me among them.

whats happened to the UKSWFF site all i get is the proboards home page?

    cheers, paul

  3. Brian might well be right there actually, if it IS the tensioner, get it sorted, as it can lead to belt failure, and total knacking of yer engine if it does go... :(

I had a Vectra that did the same, was a bearing on one of the tensioners......it rubbed the belt to pieces, but luckily I got it changed before it went completely.....

i wish i`d known that 5 years ago

bought `J reg 16v GTE astra.had a cambelt change but didnt opt for the bearings and belt tensioner.ideal for 4 months but then a rubbing noise started from the engine.performance was ok though.anyway ignored it and then the cam belt snapped in traffic :wallbash:

kept trying to start as i thought it had stalled.

    one dead engine.

on the plus side i sold the ecu and abs bits for more than i bought the car for. :clap2:

  4. damn,is was gonna send you my addy

hemp is the same family as cannibis.used for many things.especially for keeping people on the dole :wallbash:

hemp has been used for thousands of years and usually the toxic affect of it has been bred out in favour of large plants used for there fibre rope, clothing, paper etc.

  5. The General licence details, including lists of birds in each licence are here.

That law being quoted here about discharging firearms within 50 feet of a highway is highly ambiguous. The full wording again is :

It is an offence to discharge a firearm, including an airgun, within 50 feet of the centre of any highway. This includes roads, bridle-paths or public footpaths. The offence is complete if a member of the public is injured, endangered or even just alarmed by the incident.

Presumably it means that if no one is injured, endangered or even just alarmed then it is not an offence. Many rough shooters will shoot along roadside hedges and I've heard of some organised driven shoots even have stands on roads!

i work on a farm and if your a vegan please dont read on!.

we have planted recently some of next seasons crop.(cauli, sacoy, cab etc) and more to the point this summers crop (calabrese, primo, broccoly and cauli)

wood pidgeons, pheasants, rooks, magpies and canada geese have a taste for young planted shoots.even mr hare has a passion for young brassica.

the only thing to do is give them `lead` twice a day (they dont like it up em capn mannering).gas bangers help but you have to keep shooting the pest to keep them off.they aint daft.if no pest control was there the crop would be knackered.they get used to gas bangers!

the bonus is we get to eat alot of it :) (that hare has a bottle of claret waiting for it)

anyway as long as the gun (shotgun)is firing away from the road and used in a sensible manor as you state above there is no probs.well not in north devon :sun:

bring on the deliverance jokes

  6. nice fish.

looks like a good 5 to me and i`ve seen a few of that size and one from a beach that was 11lb  (not me though :wallbash: )

there is always disagrements about `size` especially bass!!!.

i dont want to get into an arguament but unless you were in the movie `time bandits` or an extra in snow white i cant see how anyone can question the weight :)

what part of the country are you from macky?

  7. :lol::lol::lol:

    that was good.

    this one is bad :P

A lobster walks into a bar, and takes a seat on a bar stool.

The bartender sees him and says, "Say! We have a drink named

    after you!"

The lobster is stunned. He replies: "You have a drink named Eric?"

  8. I've nothing specific in mind right now but I heared stuff from the first Katalyst album (Manipulating Agent) on Tripple J and bought the CD almost 18 months latter when I was in Aus.

I hear that theres now a second Katalyst album but haven't heard it yet and coudn't find it when I searched the net.

Australia also has some suprisingly good homegrown rock rands that will never get the chance to "break" Europe or the states.

    Have a listen http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/

there latest album is called dusted i think.

    look here.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search...9186121-3647659

your right about australian bands grinspoon are worth a listen and i`m well into frenzal rhomb.rock on

  9. It was an article about this debate http://news.com.com/Tension+grows+between+..._3-6027079.html that first alerted me to the posibility of ripping from streaming sources.

I would suggest that if the material is protected under copywrite and you make any unauthorised recording of it, you are in breach of the law. I would imagine though that the record industry would be very reluctant to take someone to court for breach of copywrite in teritories where they have declined to release something - if they lost, it would make it legal to have pirated pre-release movies and music that has made it onto the net.

    interesting article thanks :)

seems to be as illegal as most ways of `copying` music using a computer. no difference really to bit torrents/limewire etc.etc.etc.

what tune are you after.? got a mate in oz whos well into music.

  10. whats the legal status when it comes to recording live streaming radio.?

    does copyright law still stand?

is it as illegal as bittorrents?.(after all your copying something for free)

lots of questions i know, can anyone answer them. cheers :)

  11. this video shows conger and morays in the same area.not sure if theres some artistic licence in this short film but its worth a look. :)

there is loads of fishing videos on sites such as this and google video.

  12. shocking!!!

the police said the breed is not classed as dangerous :wallbash: .10 stones of angry dog will take some handling.unfortunetly the person looking after the dog didnt have the ability to keep it under control.

hope everyone makes a full recovery.

  13. :sun: In the past months it has been cold in Whitby and i was catching plenty of codling but i went down fishing when it was sunny and didn't catch anything! Maybe cod like to stay deep down out of the sun and like coming up in the cold??? who knows???? :cold:

it might be different up north but i was fishing for codling in october and got sunburn .sometimes getting two at a time on a pennel

they must go where the food is regardless of water temp etc.

  14. ideal billy.keep at it

reminds me of trance europe express albums from the early 90`s.perfect chillout music.nice one.bring on the mushroom season :yeah::lol: .

    and grey nice band.ska rocks.

  15. we were catching codling in october on the taw/torridge estuary when the sea temp was about 16 celsius.and that is warm.possibly in for the last major peel and the small hardbacks that there guts are always full of.

didnt get much of a spring run though when the water was 8 celsius.maybe their out spawning? will find out this october if they come back.

  16. This is not really aimed at Gozzers post but Living in the South East/ outer London it allways annoys me when I hear tales of people from the rest of the country moaning about people moving out of the SE and buying up all of the property at inflated prices,

i live in the country and what annoys me is people with second homes that moan about paying council tax on there holiday home!!! :wallbash:

its the inflated prices your on about that stops me getting a mortgage!.

and yes there is a lot of SE people that retire down here.good choice its a lovely part of the country.but working locals cant afford houses now.

what gets me though is how they always say its better where they come from. :headhurt:
