i use plain leads 50z - 60z tide still takes them down.there is a lot of weed floating around so if you use a grip lead it'll build up on your line the weed is easly picked off.
i also use size1 - 1/0 black aberdeens.
might see you lot down there next week .
i am off down later today.
-
yes they are still there caught a 1lber on sunday returned it.
the tesco on the kingsway part of dundee will gut and behead your mackerel / herring for you.
as i said before updates on my website.
so far this year 8 sea trout caught. i am going down tomorow.
i did put up reports but hardly no one looked at them so i stopped.

jaffa
i check the tail as the sea trout at this size are very close hard to tell. i return most of mine after taking pics unless they are to deeply hooked.by the way described it sounds like a salmon so my appoligies if i said anything wrong.
i never seen so i cannot give a positive id.
i have been catching sea trout in the tay for the last 10 yrs only seen 2 salmon caught and 1 of them was mine.
-
it might have been a seal.
but there is some bass out there as i lost one at the wall a few weeks back
-
road works at snackbar.
but whoever said they caught salmon was mistaken it was probably a seatrout.
if you check my webpage then you'll see i am down there alot.
i am going thursday but good luck lads.
ps
girl katherine 2 from arbroath is a good boat new skipper a few years back check my website yet again.

seen 1 pic in a paper you see the wave and this woman was running to get her kids. i hope they survived but doubt it.
animals know when to get out apart from the domestic ones.
