Will agree with that. Got a cheap Giant bedchair and love it. So much more comfotable than the floorAlan Stubbs:
their 'Giant' chairs and bedchairs do their job at a competitive price, with the added bonus of having staff that care.

Looking too go out this weekend too Cobbleacre. Not sure what lake to fish though. Would like too catch carp, barbel, chub and perch. (Any of them species in the same lake?) What baits and tactics work for you there?
Cheers, Dan

No, I was talking about Swangey mate, but seeing as you don't like rats (and who does ) Probaly not the best venue.Polly:
Do you mean Earith ot Woolpack, got a feeling you're talking about Earith???????Polly:I've heard the smaller lake is a real runs water, with people catching more than 10 decent carp a night.
The big carp lake also holds cats, and I constantly read in the paper that they're pulling out decent carp. I think if I remember rightly a 24lb 5oz, 26lb 7oz, and a 32lb 5oz were all pulled out week before last.
Although I've never fished it, so don't know what it's like
I'm a member at the Woolpack and would appreciate any help re:- Carp. As I said, mainly gone after the tench and bream til now so although I'm not a "Noddy-No-Hoper" I'm still learning the carp scene.
Cobbleacre is a great fishery, and I'm going there in a couple of weeks for a night session, will tell you how it fishes

What did you catch the eels on? (Sorry too hijack thread)ukdtofi:
Went Monday night till Tuesday morning, 2 tench 3lb14oz and 4lb3oz and an eel 2lb4oz plus some small skimmers and some chunky "res style" Rudd, missed a few bites and lost a bigger eel but it was very enjoyable, and pleasantly mild if a bit glaring with the road lights from the M1, will email the pics

So, is it illegal too use those traps too catch minnows without some sort of a license??
Also, I don't understand how they can't swim out?
