i seen andy macfarlane use the disgorger once he wraped it around the line like you mentioned rabbit, i asume once the hook has been unhooked from the flesh the it will retract more into the disgorger preventing it from getting hooked to the fish again ?

thanks guys, i have a disgorger here but i forgot to try it on smaller fish but ill definetly use it the next time, i think the problem is that i cant see the hook, i can feel the hook unhooking but i think the problem is that im hooking it again because i cant see very well.

 

ive been thinking about these barbles hooks and ive heard people say how they lose fish because of them but then hear people say that its not the barbles hook thats losing them, cany anyone clarify cause barbles hooks would sure as hell make my unhooking alot easier

i cant wait to hook a tench, i heard they are tricky to catch and great fighters, there meant to be a "strong hold" of tench in the forth and clyde (as some websites describe) but i havnt heard anything otherwise

id be greatful if any of you can give me tips to unhook smaller fish like under 10oz without damaging them or killing them. im still learning alot and getting better each time but im finding it hard to unhook these small fish that have took the hook prety far down without killing it. i use size 4" curved forcepts hooks are 20's or 10's

hi mike, ive been new here for about a month and was a total fishing noob. these guys are great they always help out and one of the memebers ive met up with and we go fishing together regularly, its a very rare thing to find such a light hearted community always willing to help people out and even meet up to help them out.

The reason all of you can't 'stand her' or him for that matter is because of constant press speculation.

I doubt it.

I personally have no comment on either of them as I do not personally know them.

 

I realise this thread is a bit of a 'laff' (and I do have a sense of humour, honest), I just hate the whole tabloid culture of putting everyone down all for the sake of making a few quid.
