  3. I think you miss the point.

You want 35 quid for a used light that requires feeding with batteries (adds up to quite a few quid you know over a season for a regular fisherman) but you can buy a really spanking good piece of kit which is rechargeable and for a fiver less.....oh and you get a 12 month warranty too.

No contest in my book i'm afraid.

For anyone wanting to check out one of the night searchers, your local 'machine mart' will sort you out.

The Petxl takes 4 rechargeable AA batteries and will last a lifetime, i have an old single bulb Petzl that takes a flat 1289 battery andi used it for 15 years + for night seafishing, its still going strong with no rust, my mates economy one lasted 18months till the corrosion got to it.

If you want the rolls royce of lights (PETZL) that will not you down when you get down the beach. their not cheap ( apart from this one! HALF PRICE!)

PS why do pot holers use Petzl duos as their first choice light?

  4. I found this rod whilst having a clearout of my tackle room which has had too many years of acccumulating

    unused tackle .

It was given to me several years ago by my uncle who used it on his local resevoir, but i never got to using it myself.

It is 9/9.5 ft i would guess AFTM 6/7 In truly excellent condition (photo available on request ) with the original cloth bag.

    Any decent offers?

  5. I am having a big clear out of the tackle cupboard and i came across my old mitchell match, one the the blue original french made ones, i have had it from new and apart from a couple of tiny scratches it is excellent condition (no corrosion or gear wear) still with its original bail lock sticker!

I have not used it for many years now so it might as well go to a good home.

    Vey best offers please. :sun:

    SALE NOW AGREED FOLKS!

  6. I have been away from home for a while so it is still available, as for price make me an offer?.

The last one i saw on ebay made £180 + p&p

My sea fishing friend says they are a very sought after sea match rod.

PS i am only in Medway so not far from you.
