Match the Hatch

Most of the day I drifted bead heads like hairs ear and pheasant tails. Nothing was working until I noticed a green type fly. I still don't know what it was and there weren't many but they were fluttering about the top. I only witnessed one rise to one of these flies and was in a perfect position to cast. First cast/drift with the only floating fly I had and this was the result. The only other rise I got was when she took my fly.

 

 

Possibly the most satisfaction from one fish I have ever had. I'm definitely hooked.
