is it worth it or will i more likely spook any fish in the swim :( .the reason im asking this is the lake i fish is quite shallow avarage of around 6ft .the swans on the lake cause major probs.even with rock hard baits they still chew it of the hair  ,they will clear a baited area in the blink of an eye .i dont feel really confident fishing singles but will if i have to.

any help would be great.

thanks in advance dean :D

I've yet to see a swan that can pick a bait off the bottom in six feet of water, but I've seen plenty that will feed at night. The only answer is to stick to the deepest water.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.
