Guess what arrived in the mail this morning?

 

We now have a huge unhooking mat/ weigh sling & carry bag to go into the raffle (thanks Gaffer)

 

I am also awaiting the arrival of some stuff from Red Gill Lures & Bivvyman tackle.

I knew it was all going to well

 

I've just had a phone call from a friend who was going to lend me a gas heated tea urn, he didn't realise his wife had booked them into an xmas fair next weekend so they'll be using the tea urn themselves (they own a mobile cafe)

 

Soooooooooooooooo does anyone have or know of anyone who will be willing to lend us a tea urn for next weekend????

Alan (and Alan), with less than a week to go, what are we doing about food and beer? I can bring some beer, sausages, beer and burgers with me, plus bread/breadcakes. Oh, and some beer too....

Alan, how far is the nearest supermarket? Once everyone is there & we see what food we have if it's not too far we can always pop down to get more food & drink.

 

It will be great if this mild weather holds as I have never bivvied up in December before must remember to put Liam's hot water bottle in:lol:

The nearest supermarket is about 5 miles away but there's the 24hr Asda in Stafford which is only another couple of miles further on.

Hi all, at the moment it looks like I can make it!

I'll probably come down (or up?) early on the Saturday and spend the day with you'll.

(and then on Sunday I'll be up (or down?) to Sandown for the Carp Society Conference)
