The BBC is currently producing a documentary series in which we intend to follow adventurous families as they embark on brave and exciting business ventures abroad. I was interested in knowing if anyone from the UK has contacted you with a view to starting a fishing enterprise abroad.

All of us at some time have thought of selling up and following a dream by taking control of our own destiny. For some it will never be more than a dream but for some people who contact you, or visit you site it may be an impending reality.

If you know of anyone who is planning a move from the UK to launch their dream fishing business then BBC would love to hear from you. Please call Rob Gill on 0208 752 4439 or rob.gill@bbc.co.uk

Hmmm - nothing quite like jumping on band-wagons now is there. Channel 4 produce a successfull series on just this theme, including an English couple setting up a French carp fishery, and so the BBC have to make a copy. Whatever happened to innovative programming? Probably lost under the weight of fly-on-the-wall programmes they're already churning out.
