MBK Lakes at Rake

I'm going for a days fishing as a bit of a social with my brother in law and his girlfriend and lots of her family. Fishing the smaller of the two lakes at MBK Rake.

 

Just wondered whats in there? Are there any decent Perch? Are there any other species worth targetting like Crucians, Tench or Roach. What sort of size are the Carp or is it pastie city?

Hi Bryan,

MBK small lake contains just about everything --- the most unusual being Chub of a fair size.The Carp grow big,but I can't tell you how big -- certainly upper teen doubles.Be advised that Kenny Wright(Owner) does not like hemp on the water.

The swims around the aerators produce well.
