A good place to put spools, is in a cardboard whiskey tube..y'know the presentation type "Tormore" comes in or something. Takes about 4-5 1/4 Lb spools. Keeps them dark and dry.

Dark & dry is good. Cool is better, too.

Of course, what really matters, is not what the dry line breaks at, when you're testing it at home, but what its strength is, wet-knotted, after it's been in the water for a while, or on your reel for a season!
